Having designed a new set of games for the "Conservation Station" kiosks in the mall of America, Xcel needed a production team to produce all of the art and program the games for the kiosk (Watts Up, Power Source). The hard part was that Xcel wanted to be able to add or change content within the Watts Up game. Also, the games would consist of some very high-end video media so the need to upgrade the current hardware was necessary.
Artropolis put together a production team consisting of programmers and artists and, coordinating with the application designer produced the current software for the Mall of America "Conservation Station" kiosks. In addition, Artropolis provided system specification for the machines that would be used in the kiosks making sure that the hardware would be able to handle the software they were developing. With our strong video background we also offered our consulting services to help with the manipulation of the video assets that were to be used. Our broad set of skills allowed us to make sure that all aspects of the kiosks would integrate seamlessly.
